I earned my Bachelor's degree from the prestigious Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where I pursued studies in the field of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) at the Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) from12 December, 2023. In this role, I am dedicated to shaping the minds of future engineers and contributing to the academic and intellectual growth of students in the field. My undergraduate thesis focused on the effects of UV irradiation and doping of Aluminum doped Zinc Oxide thin films by sol-gel spin coating to get enhanced optoelectronic properties. My focus shifted towards developing novel biomaterials when I joined as research fellow in BCSIR, in 2019 . My current research work focuses on the synthesis and characterization of pure and doped biphasic calcium phosphate ceramics. Apart from that, during my UGC funded research in DUET, I have successfully reclaimed hydroxyapatite from bio waste and used it for industrial wastewater treatment.
