Fariha Seraj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh where she has been a faculty member since 2015. Fariha completed her M.Arch and her undergraduate studies at Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka. Her research interest lies in the area of Daylighting in Architecture, Environmental Design and Building Simulations. She has several publications including Clerestories and WWR of bedrooms for daylighting deep in residential apartments (PLEA 2020), Balcony shading configurations for daylighting residential buildings (DUET Journal), Window location and configuration of bedrooms for daylighting residential apartment buildings (ICGraCe 2018).
